3) Engaged couples should plan to take our Marriage Preparation Counseling. It's free and you'll find it reassuring and useful. The two sessions follow our Parkside policy of being "Practical. Spiritual. Fun." The goal of premarital counseling is to help build your married life on a solid and reality-based foundation.
4) Divorce. Our church will do all things possible to preserve strong marriages. However, when a married couple is estranged beyond reconciliation, even after thoughtful consideration, counsel and prayer, divorce is a regrettable alternative in the midst of brokenness. We grieve over the devastating emotional and spiritual consequences of divorce. However, it is the stated belief of this church that no seeker after God shall be discriminated against as the result of divorce.

Getting Married at Parkside
First of all, congratulations!
Because if you're reading this, you may be looking ahead to marriage in the not so distant future.
We at Parkside agree with the spirit of Proverbs 18:22, that the person who finds a husband or wife finds what is good and receives favor from God. Committed love, partnership and marriage are a great thing and we're so happy for you.

There are five things you need to know to get married at Parkside:
1) Marriage is a ministry at Parkside. We are honored to have your special day at our church. Because "our church" is really God's Church you are welcome to have your wedding at Parkside, you do not have to become a member. We're told the cost of a Parkside wedding is less than most churches in the area and we are excited to offer our beautiful church for your special day.
2) We offer (at no charge) a bridal assistant . We want your wedding to be a dream come true and our experienced staff will be glad to offer hands on assistance to make sure it is! Your bridal assistant will be available to solve last minute problems at the rehearsal and on your wedding day. If you have a wedding coordinator we will welcome them to our church and be glad to assist them in anyway.
